Privacy policy
Last updated: March 29, 2026
LUXUL COLLECTIVE is a global luxury artisan destination and charity auction platform shaped by the idea that intention can create impact. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information across our two verticals — e-commerce and auctions — when you visit our site, make a purchase, bid in an auction, subscribe to our community, or otherwise engage with us.
WHO WE ARE
LUXUL COLLECTIVE operates under one legal entity with two distinct business verticals: an e-commerce vertical and an auction vertical. This Privacy Policy applies to both verticals unless a separate notice says otherwise.
When we say “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean LUXUL COLLECTIVE. When we say “you,” we mean the person visiting our site, purchasing from us, participating in an auction, subscribing to our communications, or otherwise engaging with our services.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us directly may include your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, payment details, order history, auction participation details, bid history, contact information, messages you send us, and your newsletter or community preferences.
Information collected automatically may include device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, referral information, and cookie or similar tracking data.
Information from third parties may include data from Shopify, Klaviyo, payment processors, analytics providers, and social or discovery platforms, depending on how you interact with our site and content.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use personal information to operate our site and services, process and fulfill orders, administer auctions, send confirmations and service messages, respond to support requests, send marketing communications where permitted, understand how people use our site, improve our offerings, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Some uses are tied to the e-commerce vertical, such as order fulfillment, customer service, shipping, and product communications. Other uses are tied to the auction vertical, such as registration, bidding, winner communication, and charitable administration.
Where required by law, we rely on consent for marketing, cookies, and certain tracking or sharing activities. In other cases, we may process personal information because it is necessary to perform a contract, comply with law, or pursue legitimate interests consistent with applicable law.
OUR TWO VERTICALS & GIVING MODEL
E-commerce vertical: On the e-commerce side, 20% of profits generated by the e-commerce vertical may be directed to global causes, charitable initiatives, or partner organizations as described in our campaign materials or other disclosures. Where a specific campaign uses different terms, those terms will apply for that campaign.
Auction vertical: On the auction side, 90% of auction proceeds, or such other amount as is disclosed for a particular auction, may be directed to the applicable charity partner associated with that auction. The remaining portion may be used to cover operating, fulfillment, payment processing, administrative, or related costs, unless otherwise expressly stated.
When you participate in an auction, your participation data — including bid history and contact information — may be shared with verified nonprofit partner organizations solely to administer, fulfill, and document the charitable component of that auction. We require those partners to use that information only for those permitted purposes and, where any separate marketing or outreach use is intended, only with your prior consent or another lawful basis permitted by applicable law.
COOKIES & TRACKING
We use required cookies, personalization cookies, analytics cookies, and marketing cookies, as well as similar technologies, to operate our site, remember your preferences, understand usage, and support communications and advertising where permitted.
Where required by law, we obtain consent before placing non-essential cookies. You may withdraw or change your preferences at any time through our cookie banner or settings, and withdrawing consent will not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Our analytics cookies are operated by Google Analytics 4. Our marketing cookies are operated by Meta, Pinterest, and Klaviyo. Our personalization cookies are managed by Shopify. Our required cookies are set by Shopify to enable core site functionality including cart, checkout, and account access.
DATA SHARING
We share personal information with trusted service providers and vendors that help us operate our site, process payments, fulfill orders, send email communications, analyze usage, and support advertising or marketing where permitted. These service providers may include Shopify, Klaviyo, Google, Meta, Pinterest, and payment processors such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or similar providers.
We may also share auction participant data with verified nonprofit partners solely for the charitable auction purpose described above. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards designed to limit their use of the data to the approved purpose.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and you may have rights to data portability or to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
If you are located in California or another U.S. state with applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to know what information we collect, to delete personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, including certain cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@luxulcollective.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where required, we will also honor browser- or device-based opt-out signals.
DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including account administration, order fulfillment, auction administration, customer support, legal compliance, tax and accounting requirements, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Because we are based in the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers consistent with applicable privacy laws.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under applicable age thresholds in the jurisdictions where we operate. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or applicable law. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page shows when this Privacy Policy was last revised.
