The Story: There is a moment just before dawn when light does not yet have a source — it simply exists, diffused and luminous, caught in everything it touches. THE KIRAN is that moment, rendered in stone. Formed over millions of years in the mineral-rich earth of India, this clear crystal agate carries within it the depth of light itself — fractured, held, and eternally still. A single 10" circle, shaped by hand and carried to your table from the other side of the world.
The Craft: Hand hewn from natural clear crystal agate and finished with electroplated metallic edges — not painted, not gilded, but bonded in thick metal that will not rub or fade. Four rubber pads on the underside protect every surface it rests upon. No two pieces are identical — the natural fracture lines, tone, and clarity are the stone's own signature. Roomy enough for cheese, fruit, charcuterie, or anything worth gathering around. Food safe. Hand wash to preserve the stone's natural surface.
The Name: Kiran (किरण) means ray of light in Sanskrit — a single beam caught and held. To place THE KIRAN on a table is to invite light into the room.
The Invitation: Watch what happens when candlelight finds it. THE KIRAN does not sit on a table — it illuminates one.
